I want to make my books as accessible to as many people as possible. I know not everyone has the same resources, and not every format works for everyone. It also takes money (as well as time, and energy, and practice) to keep publishing, and so your support is hugely appreciated – if I wasn’t selling books, I couldn’t keep doing this.
Ebooks
My ebooks are available on this site, and on major ebook distributors: including Kobo, Nook, Kindle, and more. They are included in Kobo Plus, but not in Kindle Unlimited because that would stop me making them available on other platforms. If you use another ebook platform and want to find my books there, let me know.
I run several sales a year – sign up for my newsletter for information about those and a chance to buy ebooks at a discount.
All my books are also available for purchase by public libraries via Overdrive, Borrowbox, and Hoopla. Most public libraries take requests – so please do suggest my books to them.
Paperbacks
Ebooks are my focus with my novella-length books, but I do release paperbacks as well – and I’m working on expanding that. Your local indie bookshop should be able to order any of my books on request. Paperbacks are also available on Amazon and I’m working on setting up other options for purchase.
If you’re in Aotearoa, I also sell books at a handful of events – like Ages of Pages. Sign up to my newsletter for upcoming events – I’d love to meet you!
On pirates and piracy
I think copyright laws are very flawed, but they’re what we have. I always publish without DRM (as long as I have the option) so you’re welcome to move my books between software and devices, keep a copy on your desktop and one on your e-reader, whatever works for your reading habits.
I ask you to avoid pirate sites though. Most of the time they do not have my books. They’re more likely to be tricking you in to downloading malicious software, or trying to get your information for a scam, than they are a genuine source of free ebooks. When pirate libraries do contain actual books, they’re used to feed AI slop machines, which harm writers and the wider bookish landscape.
If you cannot afford to buy my books, even on sale, and you can’t access them through libraries, I’d much rather you got in touch. I don’t need to know your personal circumstances, just tell me that you’ve read this page and can’t access my books, and (no promises but) I’ll see if there’s anything I can get you.
